Welcome to DJG Leather

We are a small, independent producer of horse tack based in the Worcestershire town of Redditch. 

Everything we produce is made by hand. The leather we use, unless stated, starts out as a sheet of natural vegetable tanned leather. From here all strapping, cutting, shaping, dying, finishing and stitching is done by hand using traditional techniques.

We take great pride in our work and want you, as a customer, to be completely happy with every product we supply. If it's not right, we start again.

So while we may not have years of history we hope you will join us in our journey.

Meet Our Inspiration

Meet Mr.Magoo, yes that is really his name on his passport, our loveable, if sometimes stubborn, Cob. We love our 'Cow Pony' and he is our favourite model, you'll see lots of him wearing various pieces in our store.

Despite only being born in 2020, Mr Magoo (Goo for short) has severe arthritis in his rear legs, he literally has no cartilage in his hocks. His riden days may very well be over but with on going treatment he should be able to live out his life in comfort as a man of leisure.
